Welcome to Cowm Leisure - a 150 Acre disused stone quarry featuring natural terrain for Trials Bikes, Road Legal 4 x 4's, Pit Bikes, Remote Controlled Cars and Cyclo Trials Bikes.

No Quads of any size or Motocross Bikes over 85cc two stroke.

We are located high above the village of Whitworth near Rochdale in Lancashire on the A671. See the map page for a detailed view of the area.

Opening Hours: 9:30am - Dusk every weekend and Bank Holiday unless stated. Our 4 x 4 courses are open on the last Sunday of Each month. For safety reasons, no trials bikes or mini pit bikes are allowed on these days.

We are open to trials bikes every Saturday and Sunday and bank holiday with the exception of the last Sunday in the month (please see our 4 x 4 page for dates)

Our mini bike tracks are open every Saturday and Sunday and bank holiday with the exception of the last sunday of each month when it is our 4 x 4 day. Please see our 4 x 4 page for dates.

 

 
The terrain at Back Cowm is also well suited to Cyclo Trials. We annually host the Yorkshire Tykes Cyclo Trial (who needs an engine when you have pedal power).
