On 31 August we are hosting a 4 x 4 Auto Jumble which will cater for any make of 4 x 4 - Jap, Jeep and Landrover. There will be people from all over the northwest with bits for all kinds of 4 x 4. The jumble will coincide with our 4 x 4 play day. As usual we will have two routes set out. None damaging and a harder route for the purpose built 4 x 4. As all trials riders are aware, the quarry offers some variable terrain but this feels altogether different whilst driving around on 4 wheels rather than two. If you have a 4 x 4, why not have a day off from the trials riding and give it a go?

In recent months we have constructed some new trials sections, utilising bankings and stone within the quarry. We are hoping to build a few more sections in other areas of the quarry by the end of September. These sections will cater for every grade of rider and will hopefully help riders reach the next level. A couple of the sections are aimed at championship level riders, so please only practice sections within your capabilities! If anyone has any ideas for sections or has encountered any sections which they would like to see re-created at Back Cowm, then please let John know.
