Back Cowm Quarry is 150 acres of disused stone quarry. It has been used for motorcycle trials and practice since the 1950's. After three successful years of running a British Championship Trials Round, the quarry is now established as one of the best places in England for trials riding. Back Cowm is regularly used by Britain's top trials riders for practice. We have even had a visit from the Australian Trials Team. See our Trials Gallery for photos. The terrain at Back Cowm is excellent for trials riding and is every trials rider's dream territory. There are stone outcrops, inclines, descents, water features, slippery bankings, drop offs and plenty of space to try out whatever takes your fancy. As well as offering the best natural terrain we also use machines to create man-made sections for everyone to enjoy. If you like good, challenging terrain in a friendly environment then come and pay us a visit.
